The Bismarck Palm had little black ants in them. But I think they were dying since it looked like there was some ant killer granules. Wasn't a big deal. Ants are good sometimes. I wanted this one because it added some color to my landscape. (Posted on 10/5/10)

I recieved my two bismarck palms back in June and they are doing great. So far they have tolerated the temperatures that have reached freezing at night a couple of times and have no signs of damage. They are much hardier than I thought which is great if living in zone 9. What suprises me is that they are still growing even in december. I definately recommend to anyone that realpalmtrees is the place to get your palms. And don't worry about pots as mine came in their own pots. Thanks realpalmtrees. (Posted on 12/1/09)
