Help!

Can someone please tell me what kind of palm tree...if one at all...this is? I don't know what to do with it, it doesn't seem to like the sun very much. It seems to be dying off. Any help welcome! Thanks.

Not sure what species it is but it def looks like a Dracaena.

Dracaena deremensis 'Janet Craig Compacta'
Dracaena deremensis 'Lisa'
Dracaena deremensis 'Warneckii'
Dracaena fragrans 'Massangeana' - Cane
Dracaena marginata 'Colorama'
Dracaena reflexa 'Song of India'

Make sure it is getting some kind of natural lighting, Also the amount of water and what type of water are you using? Make sure it is fertilized. Let me know how it is doing

Thanks for your help. It does seem to be mostly like the Dracaena deremensis 'Janet Craig'. Although mine is quite sickly looking. My mother has a plant that is sort of like mine but again another different type. Hers is 15 feet tall, roughly, in her living room and VERY healthy I will take pictures and add them on here, people may find hers interesting.

I will flush the dirt with water and add some fertilizer. It has a tap root, so I'm not sure how I should be watering it...could have root rot though, they looked okay when I transplanted, slightly brown but it was way to big for the pot it was in from its previous owner.

Seems like you have a great plan. What is the condition of the plant now? Dracaena deremensis 'Janet Craig' is very tolerable of many conditions. You plant should be ok. Take a look at the new store Real Ornamentals, seems like they might have more info on something similar.
