Sago Palm and Allergies?

I was interested to know if Sago Palms are particularly bad allergens for most people? I understand that they are in the Pine tree family...would they give off any pollens at any particular time of year? As in airborne type of issues for someone that may not be allergic to pine per se, but just has some allergy issues in general?

The only way the Sago palm would give off pollen is if it old enough and is planted in the ground to produce a cone which then in turns produces pollen. But I do also have a problem with allergies and I have been around a King Sago that had a cone and I didnt haven any reaction. So I think you are good to go.
