Default Washingtonian Palm

I found what I thought was a good deal . I purchased 6 foot tall Washingtonian palm that had one frond . Since i planted it (approx 2 months ago) the one frond is turning brown. Is this palm a goner or is there still hope. I have had great luck with other palms but this one worries me.
