How to Stop/Help Transplant Shock of a Bismarck Palm Tree.

Bismarkia Nobilis are sensitive to transplanting. When transplanting a Bismark Palm it may go through a transplant shock. This is normal but preliminary actions should be taken. A soaking of the roots will help with the transplant phase. A good watering once a day for the first week and then every other day will help as well. The area which you live in may lack certain nutrients in the soil, therefor adding an amenity to the soil when transplanting a palm will insure its growth. Mycorrhizal fungi, is a Fungi that coexist with plants, colonizing the root systems. By adding this fungi to the soil it will act as a vital boost, helping it survive under conditions of stress. Temperatures of the soil also could play a role in the shock, this is why the time of the year for transplant should also be taken into consideration.
